Growth Product Manager

WireMock Cloud is on a mission to build better tools for developers who work with APIs. Our software makes it easy to mock any API you depend on, improving productivity and allowing developers to keep building software rather than waiting for finicky or incomplete APIs. It’s built on the popular WireMock open source framework, and by the same creators.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Growth Product Manager to join our team at WireMock and accelerate our growth.

• As the first Product Manager at WireMock you will collaborate with the founding team to drive a product roadmap which is aligned with the company vision, striking a balance between short term customer needs and long term strategic goals. 
• Create meaningful technical partnerships with our customers to identify opportunities for improved experience and value and incorporate those into our roadmap.
• Conduct customer research to ensure we are working on solving the right problems, developing the features our customers want now and help us anticipate future products to build.
• Work closely with Marketing to develop strategies for messaging and positioning of new products and features. Your strategy will be informed by utilizing data analytics tools, A/B testing and experimentation
• WireMock Cloud attracts thousands of new free user registrants every month. The Growth Product Manager will be responsible for optimizing our product-led growth (PLG) funnel to drive user acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Partner with companies in the API management space in order to create a better together story and increase the integrated value to our customers
• Monitor key metrics to assess the success of launches and identify areas of improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

• 7+ years of experience in product management
• Experience working closely with customers in order to gather detailed product feedback and embed it in the product roadmap
• Experience building and managing cross companies technical partnerships
• Strong understanding of PLG strategies and tactics, including user acquisition, activation, and retention
• Experience in data analysis and using data to drive product decisions
• Experience working in an early stage startup
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a passion for technology and innovation
• Must be based in the Bay Area and able to come to the office few times a week - We are a small team and want to build the company culture together, hence the importance of meeting in person in the office
