Backslash provides the industry’s solution for visibility, governance, and control over AI-driven development. As organizations shift toward Vibe Coding, where Generative AI creates the vast majority of code, Backslash ensures that security teams maintain oversight and real-time protection.
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. Your mission is to drive expansion across the high-potential US market by identifying and engaging organizations that require a purpose-built security architecture for their GenAI development lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Targeted Outreach: Execute high-volume outbound prospecting - including cold calling, email, and social selling - to reach key decision-makers managing the transition to AI-generated code.
- Lead Qualification: Skilfully research and qualify potential customers to understand their business needs and the fit for Backslash's solution.
- Meeting Generation: Consistently book high-quality meetings and demos for the Account Executive team.
- Value Articulation: Clearly and compellingly communicate Backslash's value proposition to various professional personas.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all activity and pipeline status within the CRM (e.g., Hubspot).
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to refine strategy, messaging, and campaigns tailored to the specific needs of the US market.

Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years in a BDR, SDR, or similar lead generation role within B2B SaaS. Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus.
- Market Focus: Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with the business environments and professional nuances of the US market.
- Communication: Exceptional, native-level verbal and written English communication skills.
- Drive: Highly motivated, persistent, and target-focused with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-growing environment.
- Tech Stack: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
